SISTER INES, OCD This years talk: " Keeping Your
Faith Alive Through Prayer" Sister Ines entered Carmel in 1991 and professed her perpetual vows in the Jubilee Year 2000. She has served in the education apostolate for eight years, most recently as the Director of Education for St. Theresa School and Little Flower Parish in Coral Gables, Florida with over 1,000 children. She is now serving at our Motherhouse at Sacred Heart Retreat House. Growing up a family of twelve children, Sister Ines understands the crucial role of parents in planting the seeds of faith and keeping alive the flame of prayer and devotion within the heart of the family. As a Carmelite Sister of the Most Sacred Heart of Los Angeles the heart of heart vocation is that of prayer, union with God and deepening the spiritual life of those she is blessed to serve. This devotion resonates in unison with the great feast we celebrate, the Solemnity of Corpus Christi. Sister Ines will be sharing with us on the theme of prayer as the heartbeat of family life. |
